My Favorite Keto Snacks
My friend at work and I were on a mission of finding the best Keto snacks (and fat bombs) out there on the market. This has been a roller coaster of "ewww, hmmm, and yummy"! We have tried so many Keto friendly snacks out there and some of this stuff is not cheap so I thought I would save you time and put together my top Keto snacks that were actually good tasting, along with a list of some that just failed to satisfy completely.
Now even though this page is dedicated to store bought snacks, while on Keto I highly recommend using them sparingly and focus on healthy snacks you make at home yourself. I use store bought snacks as an occasional treat, not something you turn to daily. This is probably the best advise I can give if you are low carbing. You do not want your days chomping away on goodies just because it says Keto friendly. This will not help your weight loss results if you don't treat it like a snack is suppose to be treated and be aware of serving sizes as well.
Keto snacks are convenient and can be very helpful in terms of staying on the Keto diet and no depriving yourself of an occasional treat that taste good. Also, the more cheese crips or cracker type is a great way to still enjoy a Keto dip without reaching for the high carb breads and crackers. You can even add crunchy cheese crisp to your salad to give it a crouton feel to enjoy. Wraps can be used for crisping up to make quick pizzas and cheese rolls, sandwiches and so much more.
YES! This Chocolate Peaunut Butter Pie is the number 1 winner for us in the best Keto bar out there that literally taste like you are cheating on your diet. If you have tried dozens of bars and found this you would be like "is this for real?" It's that good!
YES! Atkins does a good job on Keto bars. My husband really liked these peanut caramel cluster bars.
Atkins continues to have good Keto friendly snacks available. This are very filling bars, and many flavors which so far have all been good!
YES This one felt like a treasure find. The cookies are small and delicious. If you think about all the ingredients you need to try to make yourself keto cookies. These HighKey Mini cookies are worth the price! They even have a variety pack.
Yes! Now remember, just eat one bag of these! lol. If you are looking to enjoy a chip, these Quest chips are very good alternative. If you are like me, i prefer salty chips over chocolate, and these satisfied!
YES! Tillamook Country Smoker Keto Friendly Zero Sugar Smoked Sausages, Original. These are super good, and great for traveling snacks!
YES! Atkins protein shakes are so good. They have many flavors. I save money by buying this 12 pack on Amazon, which is 3 packs of 4 and compared to buying one 4 pack at the store which can run $7-10 usually, it's a big savings! This is one of my favorite items and is always in my house. I love strawberry flavor, but they have vanilla, chocolate and more.
YES! Amazon Brand - Happy Belly Pecan Halves
I love pecans, and happily they are low carb, and great for snacking on!
YES! These are surprisingly good, and a great way to be able to enjoy a dip or put a piece of cheese on. You can find these at Aldi sometimes.
YES! Just when I was about to give up hope on Slimfast they come out with what might be one of my top favorite flavors and this little Peppermint fat bomb is dangerously good.
Check during holidays for these at your grocery store
NO These were on my "hmm" list. Not the worst thing I've had if you needed a brownie fix but it was not worth me buying another box. Same goes for the lemon flavor, and chewy bar they offer as well. I tried all three. My husband thought they were gross. Very dry, very crumbly.
NO My first thought in buying a Keto snack from SlimFast was these will be good because I do like their shakes a lot! But sadly I did not care for this particular fat bomb at all.
NO Ugh...slimfast you have been around for so long and are dissapointing me so bad. I will not give up on you yet, but this bar was one of the worst I have tried.
If done properly Keto snacks and low carb snacks can help you along your weight loss journey and or lifestyle change.
Do not forget all the at home things you can make yourself so you are not turning to store bought snacks daily. So if you are at home, make sure you are treating yourself extra special and making this keto lifestyle something you enjoy.
Save the quick snacks for road trips, salad toppings (cheese crisps), toss in bag for work snack, or an evening or weekend treat. (such as the shaved chocolate on top of your coffee!) Keto dieting really curbs your cravings for sweets, so even if you indulge yourself with having a few in the house you will not be reaching for them as much as you think!
