Do it Yourself Carpet Powder
This budget friendly carpet powder is natural, safe for pets and just 2 simple ingredients.
You will need:
baking powder (2 lb bag on Amazon for $7.99 is best i have found and will make a lot of carpet powders!)
essential oil of your choice for scent (You can choose any scent you like, there is so many on Amazon, but my absolute favorite for carpet powder so far is a peachy scent essential oil)
Container to store your powder in.
That's it!
Fill your container with baking soda, add 8-10 drops of your favorite essential oil blend, shake well.
To use:
Sprinkle on carpet and let sit for at least an hour, and then vacuum as usual. You will be left with a cleaner carpet that smells amazing.
