Our Garden Renovation

From my husband ripping out the entire backyard grass, to setting large rocks this garden was definitely made from scratch with love and I just adore it!

Hard at work tearing out the grass.

"HI  DARLING!!" Just a quick photo of my handsome hubby that I caught while at a red light next to him. It helps that my hubby runs heavy equipment daily at work,  making tearing up the entire backyard much easier!

Garden Pots

Our Arborvities will be trimmed at the bottom to get my garden under there too so it reaches the back fence.   See picture of that below.

The backyard has two gardens.  This is my 'side' smaller garden.  Setting some large rocks here.

Setting more rocks!  Also, our ceder trees are now trimmed all off at the bottom opening up the garden to go all the way back to the fence and just making the backyard look so much larger.

My husbands love of rocks was definitely a part of this new garden. And no rock was too big!

I did a makeover on this bird bath, it was black.  I simply spray painted it white, and we added a light blue bottom to it to give it a 'pool' effect.

I love my towering topsy turvy pots. They are such a cute and neat addition to a garden and very simple to put together.
